Women's Intro to Jumps & Drops

Service Description

A full day (9.30am to 3.30pm) with one of the UK's most experienced female Skills coaches. Suitable progressive terrain in our own ‘private’ drops and Jumps zones. Lots of feedback and practice, this is how you'll develop the skills progressively and understand them. Live video coaching (with an iPad) so we can analyse you're riding together and provide a greater understanding of the fundamentals. These courses are designed for people that want to: *Build up confidence to get air. *Go through the basics again for a skills check. *Haven’t done a Jumps or Drops course before. We will look at the basics first to get rid of any bad habits (if you've picked any up) that can cause problems in the air! So we'll build up from your footwork, body position, looking, energy management (pumping) and manuals. Also, we need to first make you ‘aware’ of what you're actually doing now, before we look at different ways of doing Drops and Jumps. Then we can progress to: Using transitions Scrubbing speed (soaking up) Steep & flat landing Drops Jumps getting air We will also spend plenty of time looking at the psychological aspects of your riding which include commitment and that important confidence. We will take you through them all in a controlled and progressive environment suited to your riding. £95 per person. Max 6 people per course! Coming on a female-specific course or private session with us can have lots of benefits, as well as being lots of fun and meeting other female riders, everyone is working on the same wavelength and in a testosterone free environment it’s really refreshing when you are trying to take your riding to that next level.
