Farmer John MTB - FJMTB


Is situated on a private farm and has been built by a dedicated group of friends and the legendary Farmer John!

it is a great chance to experience the Private Biking Spot’s unique range of Jumps, Drops ‘N’ Hucks, Sweet Berms, Northshore and Wall rides as well as some ace technical rooty-tooty downhill sections!

Valley X’s trail style is good for any level of rider and those wanting to work on a particular skill like Jumps, Hucks, Northshore, Wall rides and Drop offs.

One Giant Leap.


Is situated near Llangollen in the Dee Valley. Martin, the farmer has teamed up with some local enthusiasts to create new tracks down the open mountain in the shadow of the famous NPS track renown to being very step and hard. There’s now 4 tracks in total including the NPS track.

One Giant Leap is great for those into Downhill and Racing and want to improve there DH skills and performance.

North Wales Classic Guided Rides


Fancy a great day on your bike? Come on a ‘classic’ North Wales ride with Campbell Coaching.  No matter what your style, want to try a big classic Alpine ride on Snowdon or a fantastic trip over the Berwyn hills or a whizz round the technical singletrack of the MBR and Marin trails we will take care of it for you. You just turn up and enjoy the stunning scenery and riding!

You can get a group of friends together or just yourself and book one of the dates we have down or contact us if you want to go on a ride with another date that suits you. If you have another ride you would like to do just let us know.

Foel Gasnach


Is situated near Ruthin. Is a club run DH course with 4 tracks. It’s one of the hardest places to find but we’ll guide you in from Ruthin. As it has 4 tracks you can get a bit of everything what DH tracks can offer. It’s a good place if you want to get used to tree’s, roots and practice before going to the Alps.

For guided rides and for our Bespoke Alpine courses we have very easy access to the surrounding hills and Coed Llandegla Mountain bike centre. Plus the skills area is at One Giant Leap in a secret private area for those that want to do DH.


If your just getting into Mountain Biking we have a suitable area too to help you develop your skills in an safe and friendly environment.


There are also Five Pump tracks in the local area, Pump track mecca!

Based outside Llangollen 15mins from Coed Llandegla in an old woodland we have our skills area which is exclusive to Campbell Coaching. Which means you get your course without anyone watching to put you off! This helps you to concentrate more on your riding, learning and so getting more out of your skills session.
